About BitMar

BitMar award imageBitMar Networks is the firm behind the BitMar streaming platform.

In essence... BitMar is a next-generation, all-in-one, streaming platform; that connects you to millions of movies, TV shows, channels, videos, and songs, in one place (from many different sources on the Web), on the devices that you already own; for a one-time-payment—legally, and sustainably. Why is BitMar so affordable? We have found the perfect streaming model, wherein content creators/owners (TV networks, production studios, etc.) can monetize their creations, through product-placing, and/or advertisements. In essence: We are bringing free traffic, to their content.

BitMar operates as a content finder, using the same technology behind the Bing search engine. However, unlike most Web search engines, BitMar has been specifically optimized to find you full streaming content, in any language, from anywhere in the World. In fact, BitMar's automatic content-filtering system provides easy access to more movies, and TV shows, than: Cable, Satellite, Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Peacock, and Hulu, combined... and more songs than Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Prime Music, and Apple Music, combined. You may use/display BitMar on virtually any device, including: tablets, computers, smart phones, smart TVs, smart displays, streaming boxes/sticks, gaming consoles, etc. BitMar is a great alternative to many other – sometimes expensive – services.

The BitMar name is a combination of 'bit' (the basic unit of information in computing, and digital communications), and 'mar' (an English synonym of the words: 'break', 'impair' and 'disfigure.') The word 'mar' is also a derivative of the Latin word: 'mare' ('mar,' in Spanish)—which means: 'sea,' or 'ocean.' The adaptation of 'mar,' in the 'BitMar' context, represents digital-media market disruption; as well as an ocean-like availability of media content. BitMar Networks remains a privately-held company.

Our Mission:

Image of a blackboardWe strive to enrich people's lives; by providing easy access to a highly-manageable universe of streaming-content, to the World. Through BitMar, we aim to address two major streaming issues, for our users: monthly payments, and the segregation of content (at least, in the form of having to use different apps, for: music, movies, shows, and videos.)

Our History:

The Brooklyn Bridge
At its inception, on June 14, 2004, BitMar provided Web-based services – such, as: Web design, development, hosting, branding, among other Web-related services – in Brooklyn, New York.

Less than a year later, BitMar began introducing different Web-based media products; which have all merged into the current (all-in-one) BitMar streaming platform that we see today.

Our Leadership:

Jonathan Rodriguez's Profile Photo
BitMar Networks is currently led by its founder, Mr. Jonathan Rodriguez; who still serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, tech futurist, lead designer, and lead developer.

Rodriguez attended the City University of New York (CUNY), where he studied Marketing Management and Sales, at the New York City College of Technology (City Tech.) As most Tech innovators, Rodriguez quickly left conventional education; and pursued a career, as a self-taught Web developer.

As with many startups, Rodriguez wore many hats, within BitMar, for several years. As BitMar matured, under Rodriguez’s leadership, he led the firm into fully-embracing the concept of outsourcing. This strategic move allowed BitMar to evolve into a highly-dynamic, global, multimedia platform.
